Style Rant

Fashion is supposed to be style on an inspiration pill, and yet when I look through magazines and blogs alike there seems to be a dull pattern of all the sam eideas in different colors... I don't understand we shun people in the fashion society for trying something new. Someone out there would dig it!!!
... and Speaking of like minds digging each other I guess Kanye West took a sample of M.I.A's swagger and she got some of her own flashing light. Check out the pics below:

Farewell Summer Article #1

So from here on out I think my choice is to be pro-blogging and no anti-. I guess. I have tales from the far away land away from a computer called life out there. Which will soon be known as that cold place I don't feel like driving in. It's a good thing for lazy winter days. It's also a good thing there are people who hate being at home, ever(like I have been kind of!), but we have to slow down at some point to make some point. So now...

This is my style blog! How neat right a new blog on a new network! I do have another blog that I write, but this here little space on the internet is new all of my own, where I can be the stylist I feel like being. I won't have to intern for this position or interview with an awkward older woman.lol. Anywho I begin this journey with my last picture of the way Summer of '08 was.

Em and Co. Emerging L ADesigners

I wasn't able to be everywhere during this week but enough places to make it count.

So...

The show took place October 15,2008 (yes i realize its awhile after that). It was the makings of a boutique sauna with a bar on the left when you entered and the DJ in the corner. I still don’t understand even with a full space, why was it so hot!!! The temperature was the only downfall to the Em & Co. Emerging Designers fashion show during Los Angeles Fashion Week. The show was held on 3rd street in a little boutique showroom with the cutest of accessories. The room was filled with quite the diverse clan of fashion spectators. The show began with the first show by Keemia , then it ended ( there were only 10 looks). That’s okay if it was more i would have been trendy overkill anyways.
Then…

…the second and finale show began, the Monn’Amur (by Friedia Niimura) Show, it was cool. Different, very L.A. hipster trendy with it’s quaint ten looks. I thought it was a great little experience beyond the sauna effect. Both looks were cute. I guess the alcohol probably didn’t help the heat either. Emerge LA Emerge!!!

Walkin' Shoes

For those days you just feel like walkin'...
Fall is approaching, although very slowly here in LA, but we all can feel the chill on our toes, and we can't wear 6in. heels everywhere (unless being shorter is an option for you). So some of my flat shoe suggestions...

...because flats can be worn with everything
...from your bathing suit to a snowsuit
...in the form of boots or sandals
... and beyond.
